HWM's MultiLog data loggers are designed to perform maintenance free for up to five years before battery replacement. To maintain this during demanding call-in regimes, the logger's internal battery may be supplemented with a low cost external battery pack.
External Battery Packs can be easily installed and replaced with minimal operational cost via a simple 4 way milspec connector. This enables the typical five-year battery life to be maintained when transmitting data every hour, 30 minutes or 15 minutes. All other logger components are desgined to achieve the five-year life without intervention.
